FingerstyleGuitarLessons-8 Gets Your Fingers Walking

BeginnerGuitarLessons-8 Is The Next In Our Series Of Great Free Online Guitar Lessons

FingerstyleGuitarLessons-8 shows an alternating picking pattern for the right hand. It uses easy guitar chords.

The F shape is the only chord that might give you problems. Look at the free video lesson and the acoustic guitar tabs below for help with the chords.

Grab the full chord, even if you're not playing all of the notes it. It's easier to grab the full chord with your left hand than it is to try to remember which notes of the chord to use.

With the entire chord under your left hand, you'll only have to think about what your right hand is doing.

Remembering to do the things in the list below will help your playing.

  • Try to have equal volume from all of the notes
  • Play off of the left side of your fingertips
  • Be aware of proper right hand and left hand position

You will need a TEF viewer to see the music for this lesson. You can download it free here.

There's a MIDI playback of the tab available. Just click on the loudspeaker icon, then hit play in the new window.
