The Secret

As I mentioned in my About Me page, I moved back to Lousiana after a 20 year absence.
The first thing that I had to do after we got settled was find a job. I found work with a guitar manufacturer doing final
inspections on finished instruments. I did that for a little over a year. Then, problems in the business led to the lay-off of the manufacturing staff.
Now What?
Fortunately, I quickly found another job. It paid okay and I liked the work okay, but it wasn't enough. I didn't jump out of
bed in the morning, excited about the new day.
During my "unfortunate illness" I had spent a lot of time thinking about how I'd been living my life. I also thought a lot about how I'm going to spend the time that I have left. For me, a life not doing what I love isn't living.
I think a lot of people feel that way. For most of us, making a living while pursuing our passion is the problem.
The secret is finding enough income streams to take
care of our material needs and wants.
I'm learning to solve that problem. I think that you can too.
