A Guitar Lesson DVD Isn't Flesh and Blood

dvd

A guitar lesson DVD will never replace a flesh and blood teacher. It just isn't the same as sitting across from someone and having them guide you as you learn to play the guitar.

In the past people learned from written music, tablature and cassete tapes. Next came video. Now we're in the age of the DVD.

Let's face it, no book, tape or tab can replace a good teacher. But they are a good alternative if a teacher isn't available. It can also add to what you get in private lessons.

In this section I will preview and review guitar lesson DVD's. The DVDs that are reviewed cover a broad spectrum of approaches to fingerstyle guitar. Everything from easy folk songs to challenging and complex arrangements of classic rock.

Check back often, I've got a stack of them to tell you about!
